Student Enrichment Programs

Music (K-6th)
Every student participates in our music program which is taught by our Beverly Taylor Sorensen Learning Arts teacher. The Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (BTSALP) provides arts-integrated instruction to elementary students, effectively increasing student performance in every subject—from language arts and social studies to math and science.

STEM (1st-6th)
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math.
STEM education is the intentional integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and their associated practices to create a student-centered learning environment in which students investigate and engineer solutions to problems, and construct evidence-based explanations. The key term, when talking about STEM, is integration.

School of Rock (1st-6th)
School of Rock covers five areas of learning.  Jacobs ladder, Creative Pursuits, Genius Hour, Debate and Story Weavers. Students work on reading comprehension, problem solving and story telling. Students work together in teams being creative and individually as they explore their unique interests.
